Home Messy Church 27th Sept 2020.
Hi How are you doing as a family?
Would like to meet with me next Sunday 4th October to have a Zoom Messy Church?
Please let me know if you can.
We’re into autumn now with winds blowing down yellow and red leaves.
Harvest Festival is usually celebrated at this time. As part of thanking God for our food and the beautiful world He has made, you could collect a couple of autumn leaves and do rubbings of them. Put the leaf on a firm surface, cover it with a piece of plain paper and rub across the paper with a wax crayon (sidewise) or a pencil. Watch the leaf shape with is stem and veins, appear on the paper.
Here is a hymn that most of you will know: sing it to say Thank you to God
All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful,
The lord God made them all.
Each little flower that opens,
Each little bird that sings,
He made their glowing colours,
He made their little wings.
The purple-headed mountain,
The river running by,
The sunset and the morning,
That brightens up the sky.
The cold wind in the winter,
The pleasant summer sun,
The ripe fruits in the garden,
He made them everyone.
The tall trees in the greenwood,
The meadows where we play,
The rushes by the water,
We gather every day.

May God bless you as you see all the wonderful colours and hear all the sounds in His world.
May God bless you as you meet up with friends and neighbours.
May God bless you as you watch out for other’s needs and do what you can for them.
Keep your little lights shining
