We’re meeting on Zoom tomorrow (Sunday) at 3.30 on ZOOM. If you can join us, please e-mail me.
Have you started opening your Advent Calendar?
Can you wait to open the windows countdown to Christmas? One each day?
December Messy Church, usually includes the Nativity Story, a walk around the shops of Morley, to follow the Nativity Trail and the boxing up gifts for the refugees.
This year is different: We have Virtual Nativity Trail with the story, and we have collected gifts of toiletries and raisins boxes for the Refugees.
Imran will take these and our contributions of good 2nd hand or new clothing, books and toys to Wakefield sometime in the new week.
If you have contributions for the refugees, please let me know asap.
Our Story is a DIY challenge: open the attachment of the Nativity Trail and look at the picture of a Mary: find an angel or two.
An angel told Mary that she was going to have a special baby.
Look at the pictures of the shop windows. See if you can find Mary in a window. I can give you a clue –> look for a shop where your eyes could be tested.
Keep going through the story.
The next characters are:
Joseph and an angel, who told him to look after Mary.
Work your way down the characters and match them to shop windows.
Enjoy the story of the first Christmas!
Please let me know if you give the Nativity Trail a go, so that I can enter the children’s names for the prize draw on the 21st December.
The Starlight Trail is free to all.
Please come and enjoy the beautiful stars and lights.
